This qualification enables health professionals to tailor a programme of study that meets their learning needs for research-based practice in healthcare delivery. Specialty endorsements (detailed below) are available as specified; or applicants can be awarded the qualification unendorsed by selecting any two approved courses from any listed specialty.

Entry requirements
Domestic
Registered health professional/counsellor, New Zealand practising certificate (or equivalent), Bachelor Degree (or equivalent); and employed in a relevant clinical service for a minimum of three days (22.5 hours) per week.
International
IELTS 6.5 (no band lower than 6.0) or equivalent.

Credit Recognition
If you have relevant skills and knowledge through study or experiences in work or other activities, you may be able to receive credit for them when enrolling in a programme of study. Information (including the Credit Recognition Application form and fees information) is available here.
