Electrical Appliance Serviceperson
This one-week block course allows people to get their Electrical Appliance Serviceperson registration. You'll be able to connect and disconnect and service plug-in appliances at voltages up to 230V.

Electrical Inspectors
This block course allows people to learn the roles and responsibilities of an Electrical Inspector. Complete EWRB practical assessments either in our workshops or off-site around the Hutt Valley.
- Level 5
- 2 weeks, full-time
Electrical Service Technician
This one-week block course allows people to get their Electrical Service Technician registration. You'll be able to connect and disconnect and service three-phase fixed wire appliances up to 1000V.

New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Pre-Trade (Level 3)
Study basic Electrical Practical and Theory and start your journey to become a qualified electrician. Learn how to install cables and electrical equipment, along with applying safe working procedures in a supervised setting. Completion of this programme will allow you to enter into an apprenticeship in the electrical industry.

Electricians Theory Refresher
Upskill your knowledge in electrical theory. This short course is for electricians needing to pass unit 21766.
- Level 4
- 2 days
Electrical Regulations Refresher
Learn the aspects of electrical regulations. This short course is required for those needing to pass the external exam covering unit standard 1702.
