Students will get introductory skills in engines, brake systems, collision repair, metalwork and fastening systems. Learn how to safely use and maintain tools, perform calculations and choose materials to complete projects. After completing this programme, students can then go on to study their trade of choice.

This programme will set you up to start an automotive engineering apprenticeship.
Learn the fundamental skills needed to become successful in the automotive collision repair industry. Students will be taught how to apply collision repair and refinishing knowledge to repair minor damage in a supervised setting. Completing this programme allows ākonga (students) to start an apprenticeship.
Study light automotive engineering and learn from the best. Get the diagnostic skills needed to work on a range of light vehicles. Through block courses and part-time study with evening classes, you'll be able to complete study while continuing to work with your employer as an apprentice in the automotive industry.
