WTA Te Ao Haka (Performing Arts)
Te Ao Haka is a new performance-based subject. It provides an opportunity to engage in Māori culture, language, and traditional practice.
Ākonga learn their whakapapa, history and language through the medium of haka. The subject combines traditional and contemporary culture. Ākonga completing this course will be able to apply the the skills they learn in cultural performance-based contexts within their community.
