Apply as a Domestic Student

Apply at studylink.govt.nz for financial assistance. Use the StudyLink online tools to ensure you are eligible for a student loan and/or allowance. Start your application as soon as possible to avoid delays. If your loan application is not approved, you will still be liable for any fees due. You need to be a New Zealand citizen or have New Zealand residency for at least three years to be eligible for StudyLink services.

Note: Some short courses and night classes are not eligible for loans. Check with us if you are unsure.

You can submit your application without entering this information, however you will need to provide this information before your application can be fully assessed. If you have never studied with us before and have a verified ID document, such as New Zealand birth certificate, New Zealand passport or citizenship certificate, you can help us process your enrolment by uploading it here. An enrolment officer will be in touch to advise if any information is missing.
