International Joint Programmes

Joint degrees and articulation

We have partnerships with many tertiary institutions worldwide. Through Joint degree and articulation programs, students who have already begun their degrees in their home countries can complete them in Wellington and obtain a Te Pūkenga trading as Whitireia and WelTec degree or diploma.

Our partnerships include joint training programs, 1+1 or 2+2 articulation pathways, as well as joint 4+0 Bachelor’s degrees and 1+1 Master's degrees, with partner institutions in China, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka. Students can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various fields such as Information Technology, Business, Creative, Health and Culinary Arts. 

Our key partnerships

4+0 Joint Degree with Xi’an Kedagaoxin University and Hunan Institute of Engineering in Bachelor of Information Technology in Software Development.

Students will receive a Bachelor's degree certificate in Software Development, a Bachelor degree awarded by the Chinese institution, and a Bachelor's degree certificate in Information Technology (Software Development) awarded by Te Pūkenga trading as Whitireia and WelTec upon successfully completion of the programme and meeting all criteria.
