Fees

Before you start studying at Whitireia & WelTec, you have to pay your international tuition fees. Find out what you’re responsible for and how to pay your fees.

International fee payment and contractual obligations

When you accept the Offer of Place, you enter a contractual agreement for the full time of study listed in the offer (i.e. 1 year, 3 years, etc.). You have to pay all fees listed in the Offer of Place before you start your studies. You won’t be allowed to attend classes until we’ve received full payment.

The fee you pay is made up of two fees:

  • Foreign Student Fee which is made up of Tuition Fee, Administration Fee, Course-related costs
  • Insurance Fee for Whitireia & WelTec’s default health and travel insurance. The Insurance Fee must be paid unless you’re using a different insurance provider that we’ve approved.

Before you pay, read  Whitireia & WelTec’s Withdrawal and Refund Policy for International Students. Get in touch with us if you have any questions.

Fee Payment and Contractual Obligations

The Offer of Place for International Students is a contractual agreement for the full duration of study listed in the offer. Listed in the offer are the International Student Fee which is made up of Tuition Fee, International Administration Fee, Materials, Account fee, Learner Services Fee, and the Insurance Fee for the default health and travel insurance. The Insurance Fee must be paid unless the use of an alternative insurance provider has been approved in advance.

Full payment of all fees listed in the Offer of Place is required prior to programme commencement. Enrolment will not be complete, and students will not be permitted to attend class until full payment is received.

Making a payment indicates an acceptance of the contract for the period of one academic year (or the length of the programme if less than one year). This contract means there is an obligation to pay the fee for the year (or the length of the shorter programme).

Before paying your fees please ensure you have read and understood International Student Withdrawal and Refund Policy.
